Radio Stations I Like

I am a radio head. Through and through. I love radio, I worked in college radio, and I believe radio should exist as it is a service to artists, journalists, and most importantly, the people.
My time in college radio
When I toured Ohio University, I knew once I saw the ACRN.COM studios that I had found my place. The closet-sized studio was littered with posters advertising new releases (the Cat Power poster sold me, as if I wasn't already sold). I couldn't wait to get myself behind the board. During my four years at OU I hosted several shows, most notably No Experience Necessary which focused on artists I found though Myspace and the late, great CLLCT.com. I served as the Programming Director and I drank so many PBRs while watching some of the best up and coming bands at The Union (Favorite show of all time: The Apples in Stereo!). Working in college radio was a dream that I wish I could go back to every day of my life.

INDIE STATIONS
BFF.FM or Best Frequencies Forever is where the love of music and radio shines. I have found so many new artists by listening to BFF and the DJs are truly top notch. It's like listening to the best of the best of college radio.
